Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using stoppitching.com, including the Team Builder and points calculator, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use StopPitching. By using the site, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Description of the service
StopPitching is a free-to-play fantasy football game consisting of a Team Builder tool, a fictional player pool, formation selection, a budget system, and a points calculator, alongside informational pages about who we are and how we operate. The service is provided for entertainment only, as described in our Disclaimer.
No account, no purchase necessary
StopPitching does not require you to create a paid account or make any purchase to access any feature described on this site. If we ever introduce optional accounts for convenience (for example, to save a squad across devices), participation in the core game will remain free.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the site only for its intended purpose and not to: attempt to disrupt or overload our infrastructure; attempt to reverse engineer or scrape the site at a scale that degrades service for others; use automated tools to abuse the Team Builder or calculator; or use the site for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual property
The design, code, text, graphics, favicon, and the fictional player and club data on stoppitching.com are the property of StopPitching unless otherwise indicated, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial entertainment, but may not copy, redistribute, or repurpose substantial parts of the site without our permission.
Fantasy points and scoring system
The scoring rules published on the Team Builder page define exactly how fantasy points are calculated from a given performance input. We may adjust these rules over time to improve game balance; any change will be reflected directly on that page so the rules you see are always the ones in effect.
Fictional data disclosure
All players, clubs, and league data used in the Team Builder are entirely fictional and created for gameplay. They are not intended to represent, and should not be interpreted as representing, any real person, club, league, or organisation.
Advertising and affiliate disclosure
As explained in How It Works, we may generate revenue through display advertising and affiliate or sponsorship partnerships. Engaging with such content is entirely optional and never required to use any part of the game.
Service availability and modifications
We aim to keep StopPitching available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, for maintenance, improvement, or other operational reasons, and will try to keep disruption to a minimum.
Termination of access
We may restrict or terminate your access to the site if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available to us under applicable law.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site and all its features are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. See our full Disclaimer for more detail.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StopPitching and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited under Spanish or EU consumer protection law.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may hold under the law of your own country of residence if different. We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any dispute before pursuing formal action.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the site or applicable law. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
